Opening legacy email files has historically been painful and risky. Traditional cloud converters require uploading your entire mailbox—including sensitive business communications, personal memories, invoices, and credentials—to remote third-party servers.
We engineered Online Email Viewer with an uncompromising standard: zero archive uploads. Utilizing modern Web APIs (HTML5 File API, Web Workers, and in-browser streaming readers), every file you open is decoded exclusively in your local device RAM with zero file bytes uploaded to remote servers. Outbound network requests occur only if you explicitly choose to load optional remote images or click external links.
Supported Formats & Technology
Our web engine supports a wide range of standard email archives:
- PST & OST: Microsoft Outlook personal and offline storage tables.
- MBOX: Google Takeout Gmail archives, Mozilla Thunderbird, Apple Mail.
- MSG: Outlook individual messages (Compound File Binary Format).
- EML & EMLX: RFC 822 universal messages and Apple Mail variations.
- Winmail.dat: Outlook TNEF encoded rich text and attachments.
